Students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 are required to isolate at home for five days. If symptoms improve and they have no fever for 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medication, student and staff can come back to school. We encourage you to test before returning.
Students and staff returning to school after isolation should wear a well fitted mask from days 6 to 10, unless they’ve tested negative after day five.
Students and staff who test positive after five days of isolation must stay at home for the full 10 day isolation period.
If there is a positive case of COVID-19 in your household we ask that your child stay home for 3-5 days and test before returning to school.
We will continue to inform families and staff when there are positive cases in the school. We will notify high risk students and their families of any exposures. We will communicate positive cases and outbreaks to families by phone or email.
Vaccinations:
Our staff will stay up-to-date on vaccines.
We are not requiring kids to be vaccinated but we are asking that everyone fill out the vaccination form provided by the state. You can find this form in the packet you’ll receive at Parent Orientation on Wednesday August 24.
We will maintain a clean learning environment, keep air flow with open windows and our Remy Halo filters will remain on throughout the school day.
We will also continue hand sanitizing and handwashing throughout the school day.
We ask that you communicate with us any positive exposure or cases in your household.
